He hears us

He hears us

“Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.” – Psalms 54:2

Prayer is the way in which we communicate with God, especially in our spiritual life. When praying, we should open our hearts and speak our innermost thoughts to God, and sincerely call out to Him. If we don’t pray, we will lose a connection with God.

Many brothers and sisters think that God doesn’t answer. Does He no longer listen to me? Is He tired of listening to me? Have I have done anything wrong that makes Him deaf to my requests?

Despite this, we should not tire of praying over and over again because I know that the answer we may be waiting for maybe "yes," "no," or "just wait."

Can you still wait?

If you are experiencing this and it seems that God is no longer listening to you, please do not worry. He does not change for you. He does not change his mind about you. Just waiting is part of our Christian identity. Not all of our prayers are answered immediately.

We may not see what God is doing right now, but I know He is at work. Whatever the answer may be, I know it is for our good and the good of the people we pray for.

Please remember that it was 400 years before God heard the requests of His children who were being oppressed in Egypt. It also took 40 years before they could enter Canaan.
It took such a long wait before their requests were answered.
Why? Because God purposely sets the right time for everyone.

The way God answers our prayers may not make sense to us now, or ever. In a broken world, we’ll experience pain. Living in fellowship with God means trusting that He hears us, no matter how He answers our prayers. It means patiently waiting for the day when it all finally makes sense.

Waiting is not important if you know that when the answer you are waiting for comes, your joy will be complete.  If you know that God does not think of anything for you other than for your own good.
If you know our trust in God we will not fail.

Sometimes He does not immediately give us the things we want because He has a perfect time for it. We just have to be patient and open our eyes to how He may be working through our prayers.

So if we have things we want to achieve let us bring them to Him and He is always listening to us.

Consistent and intentional daily prayer is one of the spiritual disciplines that many Christians struggle with the most. We need to be encouraged to persevere in praying because our prayers are never wasted! The Lord hears us. He is always listening!

We should always pray that the light of God will shine on us, and we must always rely on God. Let us always pray to Him and even though He has already answered our prayers, we will continue to pray to thank Him. We are expected to pray, and we are expected to be ready to pray at any moment.

In our lives, we have no one to lean on but Jesus. We can only find all our needs in Jesus. Everything comes from Him so we have no ownership in this world.

Remember to always pray, Trust, and Wait on the Lord. Trust in the Lord because before we ask for what we want, He already knows our needs. But perhaps you feel the level of your faith is just not there yet.

I encourage you, never give up on the Lord.

Never give up your faith.

Never stop praying.

God hears our prayers. The very Creator of all things!

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6,7). "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).

Oh Lord, Your authority and power are supreme, but our faith in You is too little. Yet in your mercy you let us see the answer to our prayers. May You enlighten us and give us faith so that we could rely on and look to You in all, no matter good or bad. Thank You so much for the fact that You always hear us and that you are always near us! Give us faith to endure until we see your salvation. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
